In my studio, you can quiet your mind, relax and experience the Japanese healing art of Reiki.
What is Reiki?
Reiki, meaning “Universal Life Force Energy,” is a Japanese healing art first developed by Mikao Usui in 1922. It involves either a hovering hand or a light touch from practitioner to client.
When we are suffering from illness, it is believed to be from a lack of or blockage of Life Force Energy, also known as chi.
How Does it Work?
Nobody can explain how it works, just that it does. In fact, it works so well that many hospitals are beginning to utilize it in surgical and other settings to promote healing.

Emily Johnson, Reiki Master Teacher
Emily began her Reiki journey in 2017 when she first experienced it and then quickly signed up for classes. She worked on her studies for 2 years and finished her Usui Tibetan Master Teacher training in 2019. She also has a BA in English Literature from The University of Southern Mississippi, is a trained birth doula and monitrice, and is a certified Herbalist. She considers herself a professional student and continues to find new healing modalities to learn and practice. She is also a homeschooling mother of 5 and a wife since 2005.
First Session (75 Minutes) $110 *BY APPOINTMENT ONLY*
This includes:
Time to discuss the reason for your visit and experiences during the session, as well as time for you to adjust to being in a new place with a new person so that you can have the best experience.
45-50 minutes Reiki treatment, depending on how much had been discussed.
Follow-Up Sessions (60 Minutes) $85 *BY APPOINTMENT ONLY*
This includes:
Time to discuss any particular reason for the session and a brief discussion after the session.
45-50 minutes of Reiki treatment.
Other Services
Reiki at the onset of or during labor.
Reiki for your pets or other animals.
Reiki for your newborn or other children.
